People who may consider testing or evaluation for Alzheimer's disease include: Adults, especially those over 65 years of age, who have persistent memory problems. Individuals experiencing confusion, difficulty with thinking, planning, or performing daily activities. People with a family history of Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. Those whose family members or friends have noticed significant changes in their memory, behavior, or personality. Individuals with risk factors such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, or a history of cardiovascular disease.
